19 of the Russian's 21 titles have been won on hardcourt
A resurgent the Russian player secured his initial title for nearly 30 months with success over Frenchman Moutet in the competition final.
Medvedev, a ex- number one, has had a challenging period, managing just a single victory at the Grand Slams and undergoing a difficult moment at the US Open.
His varied form on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his serve in especial - resulted in him falling of the top ten and eventually splitting with former coach Cervara.
Currently collaborating with his coach and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually progressed in the last few weeks - climaxing in a closely contested competitive win over challenger Corentin Moutet.
It is the player's initial title following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hardcourt from spring of 2023.
Victory also means he has won twenty-one victories at twenty-one various competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a competition with my two daughters simultaneously, so to get a championship is really nice," said tennis professional Medvedev.
"This championship is in tribute of my younger daughter my daughter, because the first title I got when my child her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the past champion, had lost his previous six title deciders, featuring in the German tournament in the past months.
His counter-punching play style and recurring outbursts on court had prompted some to doubt if his skill to perform at the elite level was finished.
But the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the last few weeks, striving to come to the net and compete assertively, backed up by an better service.
Medvedev came back from a deficit in the initial set against the difficult Moutet, winning four of the concluding five games to take the lead.
Both players traded service breaks in the following set before Moutet, attempting for his maiden professional title, seized the initiative to push for a decider.
Moutet rescued four initial chances in a tight deciding set before the champion broke to fifteen to secure the win.
Fittingly, Medvedev clinched the title with a shot at the net, with his opponent unable to handle a return after over two and a half hours.
